Docuseek2 allows you to purchase licenses to titles online.
You must be registered with Docuseek2 and logged in to be able to purchase licenses. The information below applies only to logged-in users.
Once you find a title or collection that you would like to license, click on the film title in the search results to view the title page on Docuseek2. On the title page, in addition to in-depth information about the title, you can preview the first 10 minutes of the film, view a YouTube trailer if available, and add a license to your shopping cart.
Note: Some titles in the Docuseek2 database are not yet available for streaming. The message "Sorry! This title is not available for streaming at this time." will appear in the product detail section on the left side of the page. Also, these titles will not have the filmstrip icon to the right of the title in search results.
Note: All of the titles on Docuseek2 are available for licensing in the United States. Not all titles are available for licensing outside of the U.S.
Tip: To request that the title be made available for streaming, click the "Request this title be made available for streaming" link just below the "not available for streaming" message.
If the title is available for streaming, you will see the various license periods and associated prices for streaming the title.
Select the desired license period. You may also specify a start date for your license, up to 90 days from the current day. For example, if you or a faculty member at your institution wants to show a video to classes later in the semester, you can specify the date when you want the film to be available for viewing. Click the Add to Cart button to add the title to your shopping cart.
At any time you may view the contents of the shopping cart by clicking the cart icon at the top of most pages. |

Tip: If an item is in your cart, the cart icon will appear next to the title in your search results.
Once you have completed your order, click the Checkout link at the top of most pages, or the Checkout button at the lower left of the View Cart page.
If you have a coupon code, enter it on the checkout page.
Payment
Licenses may be paid for by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover), or by purchase order. Please note that we do not accept credit card payment for orders over $1,000.
Credit card purchases are processed immediately, and if approved, the licenses are available for viewing (assuming the license start date is the current date). All sales are final.
Purchase orders must be manually verified, usually within 24 hours. Once the purchase order is verified, an email will be sent to the email address associated with your account notifying you of the new license status.
