Administrators may hide (block) titles if they wish them not to be available to users. Here are the details on how this works:
- Titles are hidden / unhidden on a per title basis from the My Docuseek: Licensed Films tab.
- To hide a title from users, those user MUST have "Allow user to see all films in search results" right UNCHECKED.
- Docuseek Support can hide / unhide titles in bulk. Pleae provide a spreadsheet of titles to block. Preferred method: Download the links spreadsheet from My Docuseek: Licensed Films tab, and indicate in column H which films to block. Send the spreadsheet to support@docuseek2.com.
- Users will not see hidden titles in Browse results (as log as the user does not have the right to see all films).
To set default user preferences for new users, change
User settings on the My Docuseek page. See the
Account maintenance and user administration page. Note that changing User settings sets the default value for
new users only. To change the setting for existing non-administration users at your institution, please contact
